Exhibition Juror
Unlike many curators, the always culturally curious Arning thrives on learning what artists are making in different regions around the world, and in the last years has juried shows of Nebraska and Louisiana artists for the Joslyn and Ogden museums respectively. He has gone as an invited guest to survey studio practice in the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark Israel, Japan and Argentina and welcomes learning the art making practice of more regions in the future. He has also awarded prize fellowships in many student exhibitions over the years.
